How much does mobile detailing cost in Jacksonville?
A flat $450 for one vehicle, or $295 a month on the Protection Program. The rate does not change with the size of the vehicle, so a Suburban costs the same as a coupe. Two vehicles in the same visit are $790 one time or $525 on membership, three are $1,080 or $725, and each additional vehicle is $340 or $210. Multiple vehicles have to be at the same address on the same visit, because the travel and setup are the expensive part of mobile work. Full table on the services page.
What areas do you serve?
Jacksonville, Ponte Vedra Beach, Jacksonville Beach, Atlantic Beach, Neptune Beach, Nocatee, St. Johns and Fleming Island. The radius is deliberately tight rather than metro-wide: holding a small area is what makes a recurring schedule possible, and it is why we can be at your house the same day when something comes up. Do you need my water or electricity?
No. We arrive fully self-contained with our own water supply and power. All we need is enough room to open every door and walk a full circle around the vehicle.
Do I need to be home?
No. You choose how access works for each visit: a temporary digital key shared from your phone, an unbranded key safe mounted inside your garage, being there in person, or exterior-only work with no interior access. We never keep a key or a code between visits, lockbox codes change every visit, we never ask for gate or alarm codes, and your vehicle is never driven off your property. You get a photo walkaround by text before any work starts. We do recommend being there for the first visit, so we can walk the car together and agree what condition it is in. Do you remove scratches and swirl marks?
No, and this is the honest answer most detailers avoid. We do not perform machine paint correction, compounding, machine polishing or wet sanding. Clear coat is finite and every machine polish removes a little of it permanently, so a detailer who buffs a car on a routine is spending something you cannot get back. Swirls, etching, deeper scratches and stone chips get documented and reported, not corrected. What we do instead is keep the paint protected on a schedule so it never reaches the state where correction is the only answer.
How long does a detail take?
Plan on most of a day for one vehicle. A car that has been neglected for years, or more than one vehicle in the same visit, can run longer. We give you the window when we quote.
Is this a ceramic coating?
No. What we apply is a maintained layer that gets topped back up on a schedule, not a permanent one-time coating. We do not claim it is permanent and we do not claim it makes a car scratch proof. The practical difference: a permanent coating is a single sale, while a maintained layer means someone is inspecting your paint several times a year instead of once, so problems get caught while they are still small.
How often should a car be detailed in Florida?
More often than almost anywhere else, because the conditions are harder on paint. UV exposure here oxidizes paint, fades trim and dries out leather. Salt is in the air constantly anywhere near the ocean or the Intracoastal, not just after a beach trip. Afternoon rain plus pollen and bugs bonds contamination to the paint every week whether you drive or not. Protection applied once and left alone gets thinner every month; on a schedule it never does.
What if it rains?
This is Florida, so it will. We watch the radar and reschedule proactively rather than rush a job or trap moisture under a coating. There is no penalty for weather on either side.
Can you work in an apartment or condo garage?
Often, yes. Some buildings restrict detailing on the property, so check with your management first and tell us what they allow. We work with the space we are given.
Do you work on exotics and collector cars?
Yes, and those are the vehicles we built the process around. Tell us the year, make and model when you request a quote so we plan the right approach before we arrive.
What is included?
One package, every time, with no good, better and best tiers: pre-rinse, foam and contact-safe hand wash; wheels, tires, wheel wells and exhaust tips; iron and tar decontamination; clay treatment on paint and glass; a protective coating applied by hand; door jambs, fuel door and glass inside and out; a full interior including vacuum, carpets and upholstery; leather cleaned and conditioned; vents, seams and crevices; trim and plastics dressed; and condition photos before and after.
